POLICY POSITIONS

The statements and policy positions are my beliefs and I stand behind them. I express them understanding that there is very little possibility that some of them will be considered by the Kansas Legislature, but they remain of utmost importance to my constituents. I encourage you to read these statements in their entirety, understanding that a single bullet point cannot succinctly capture the depth and complexity of these issues.

Political Party

As a Libertarian, I passionately believe in the Freedom to Suceed and the Freedom to Fail.

National Debt Crisis

The Federal Government is currently printing $1 Trillion every 100 days. This is unsustainable.

Drug Law Reform

The State of Kansas should not follow the pack by enacting recreational marijuana laws.

Local Government Decisions

We, the Members of the Libertarian Party of Kansas, believe in the people of Kansas. We hold that all adults are capable of deciding what is best for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Equal Opportunity Not Equity

It is not the job of the State of Kansas to achieve equity for all residents.

Critical Race Theory

The decision on what is taught in schools is up to parents, educators, and school boards.

Prison Reform

There is a balance needed in offenders spending too much time institutionalized, and in securing safety for the citizens.

Deregulation

I believe in solutions that meet the ethical and practical concerns of the people of Kansas.

Pro-Life

Children in the womb have a right to life, and the State of Kansas should further enact laws that protect those children.

Election Security

Only citizens of the United States should be permitted to vote in local, state, and federal elections.

Climate Change

Global temperatures appear to be rising; however, the solutions offered by climate activists will be disastrous.

Border Integrity

This is a federal issue. We must end the lie of asylum.

De-Regulation of Professions

De-regulation of professions will bring creativity and economic opportunity for many Kansans.
