This was my campaign website. I am not a candidate for the Kansas House. I am maintaining this site because the ideas in it are important.
The most important part of this website is the National Debt Crisis tab. I constantly hear politicians and commentators claim that there is "no solution" to the debt crisis. I disagree. A time will come when this issue can be ignored more longer. The two proposed solutions will be to cut the promised benefits or to raise taxes to cover the massive shortfall. I propose a third way.

WHO IS PETER SOLIE?
I am an advocate for liberty and an individual's right to make their own decisions. I am particularly passionate about the 1st, 2nd, and 10th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution. The "Freedom to Succeed" is only possible if the "Freedom to Fail" is also present. I have a solid background and experience in civil service, public policy, transparency, and open communication and dialogue.
I currently serve on the Lorraine City Council. That makes me an "Elected Libertarian." I am proud to serve the residents of Lorraine and I look forward to the opportunity to serve the residents of the 109th District in the Kansas House of Representatives.
